Living Well With Cancer
It is normal to feel worried, fearful, anxious and helpless when facing cancer. However, these emotions consume a lot of energy and increase fatigue. Here are some tips to manage your stress.
- Ask questions: Understanding the symptoms allows you to control them more easily.
- Join a support group: or talk to other cancer survivors.
- Get enough rest: By delegating tasks, you have more time to sleep.
- Keep exercising: Even 15 minutes of exercise (walking, swimming, yoga) will help you relax and feel better.
- Relax: Give yourself at least 15 minutes each day to be alone, doing what you want (meditate, pray, listen to music, watch TV) or doing nothing.
- Depression: Be aware of the signs of depression.
